~Pansies on the Porch~

White pansies are a timeless Spring flower and I always have them planted in pots, planter boxes and different containers on my porches and patio.  They look right at home on the Garden House porch this time of year.  Enjoy!  xoxo K.

It won't be long before I have to replace them with petunias since they don't do as well in the warm Summer months.

Even Ella couldn't help but jump up and get a better look at these beautiful blooms.  She is such a great helper when I'm outside taking photos:-)

I'm glad I went out earlier in the day yesterday to get these shots because by afternoon, the rains came back....that's Spring in Oregon for you!

I've got quite a bit going on this Spring, one of which is the Farm and Frills Show coming up May 10th.  I've been busy cleaning, painting and fixing all kinds of great garden goodies to take.  Hope to see you there.

Have a wonderful week!

  1. I want to come sit and read on your sweet porch right now - exhausted after an early morning tennis match. Instead, I am headed out to my own garden to work.

  4. I've been waiting to see what you would be showing on your porch! . The sweet white pansies in the galvanized pot look so pretty. I love the way you have tucked dried grass in around the little plants. I collect moss & push that in, but it's not in for very long as the birds come & steel it for the nests. It's a wonder they don't steel your dried grass.

  9. Your little porch is so cute and sweetly decorated. I never think to buy white pansies but then again, the coloured ones are more popular here - purples and yellows are my favourites. They bloom almost all summer here and are great to stick in a spot that needs colour. I like your white ones though as they show up against the wood tones. Have a lovely week.
